 Longest life Modem going!!, By Rcontrera (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Motorola Surfboard SB-3100 Cable Modem (Electronics) This is probably the best made modem I have ever had! I got over 12 years of service from this model while others in my other locations have only lasted 3-5 years. I replaced it just because my ISP said that cable modems don't last over 5 years and I put it in a box. I am glad I did because the replacement one only lasted two years and I returned to my old trusted 3100.Oh ... and it does work with Comcast.
